If it seems like we're moving along slower than normal that is because we are. I've lost track of what day we're on and don't want to figure it out right now. We finished the roof last week. It was nice to put a finishing touch on something. We worked for four days in the wind and cold on the roof to get it done before the snow storm. We barely made it.
We had a couple groups of high school students come help on the roof. All I can say about high school students is that some are cool and hard working and other's are lazy and lame. Monday, November 22, 2010

Glad you got your roof on. One thing down. Kass did Building Construction in High School for 2 years. He was one of the few Mr. Decker would give a recommend to for his work. Sadly it's not just high school students who are either workers or not. It's a trait in people in general. For the short time Kass is home between leaving his mission and being deployed, he and Steve will be working on a wall in his room down stairs because Kass does sheet rock and finish work so well. I'll have him pick out colors so I can get it all painted before he comes back from Iraq. And hopefully, have a bed set and things ready for him. Like he cares about a bed set.
